Free car collection in Denmark: how pickup works when you sell to us

Where and when we collect

We collect throughout Denmark: Zealand, Funen, Jutland and the islands, with Greater Copenhagen the fastest to arrange since we are based in Rødovre. Collection is agreed with you for a specific day and time window. You or someone you have named needs to be present to hand over keys and documents and to receive payment.

Before we arrive

Remove personal belongings, parking permits, toll tags and child seats. Delete paired phones from the infotainment system if you can. Have the registration certificate (registreringsattest) and all keys ready. If the car is in an underground car park or behind a gate, make sure we can get in. That is all; the car does not need to be washed, and it does not need to be driven anywhere.

On the day: inspection, payment, paperwork

The driver checks that the car matches the description you gave — make, model, mileage, condition, faults. If everything matches, the agreed price is paid at handover by bank transfer or MobilePay, you sign the sales agreement, and the car is loaded. If something material was not disclosed, for example a fault that was not mentioned or a mileage that differs a lot, the price is discussed before anything is signed; you are free to say no and keep the car.

After collection we register the ownership change or deregistration ourselves and send you confirmation. Once that is done, road tax and insurance stop being your responsibility.

Cars that do not run

Non-runners are collected on a transporter with a winch. Tell us in advance whether the car rolls and steers, whether a wheel is locked or the car is stuck in gear, and how much space there is around it. A car boxed in by other cars or parked on soft ground takes longer, but it can still be collected.
